MHS AP Chemistry
Indicator Paper
Each student will be assigned an indicator to research for their monthly
paper (usually for January).
The paper must include the following:

The usual title stuff
-
The usual "formal paper" format, including citations and a works cited
page
-
The formula and structure
-
The formal name
-
The associated pH range and color(s)
-
The typical solution it is used in (for example, 1% in ethanol)
-
Any safety/health issues
To get all 10 "chemistry" points, the paper must ALSO include:

A description of the chemistry involved in the indicator's color change.
Which bond(s) change? Why?
